A scenic stretch of coastline dotted with old wooden fishing huts suspended over the sea — some now turned into cozy little restaurants or viewpoints. Perfect for a romantic walk or a lazy afternoon watching the waves.

Santo Stefano di Sessanio & Rocca Calascio

Step back in time with a visit to these medieval hilltop villages. Rocca Calascio, with its castle ruins overlooking endless mountains, feels straight out of a fairy tale (and yes, it’s even more magical at sunset).

Gran Sasso National Park

Breathe in the fresh mountain air! Whether you prefer a gentle walk, a panoramic drive, or just a picnic with jaw-dropping views, this national park is pure peace. In September, the light and colors are simply stunning.

Nightlife & Beach Clubs

Abruzzo has some surprisingly fun nightlife! Head to Pescara or nearby seaside towns where beach clubs turn into night-time hotspots with DJs, cocktails, and dancing under the stars.
